Position Type: Part-Time
Average Hours: Fewer than 30 hours per week
Starting Wage: $19.00 per hour
Wage Increases: Year 2 - $19.50 | Year 3 - $20.00 | Year 4 - $20.00 | Year 5 - $21.00

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with team members and communicate relevant information to leadership.
• Maintain the security and confidentiality of documents and data.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Cashier Responsibilities:

• Process customer purchases and perform general cleaning duties.
• Stock shelves and neatly merchandise displays.
• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their shopping.
• Give feedback to management regarding products, inventory losses, scanning errors, and general issues.
• Participate in inventory counting and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash policies to minimize losses.

Stocker Responsibilities:

• Stock shelves and rotate product to ensure availability of fresh products.
• Follow merchandising planograms to create excellent displays.
• Organize new inventory and manage empty boxes.
• Operate equipment safely and follow safety procedures.

Store Associate Responsibilities:

• Assist with curbside shopping orders.
• Perform both cashier and stocker responsibilities.

Physical Demands:
Regular activities include sitting, standing, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, and walking within the store. Store Associates must have the strength to lift products weighing up to 45 pounds and the ability to stock merchandise at various heights.

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Perform general cleaning duties to company standards.
• Understand and apply company policies and procedures.
• Excellent verbal communication skills are essential.
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Demonstrate effective time management skills.
• Familiarity with products and services offered by the company is beneficial.

Store Associate & Cashier: Ability to operate a cash register efficiently and accurately.
Store Associate & Cashier: Compliance with state and local regulations for handling and selling alcoholic beverages is required.
Store Associate & Stocker: Safe and proper operation of equipment, including electric/manual hand jacks and floor scrubbers, is necessary.
Stocker: Morning availability is required, with potential start times as early as 5:00 a.m.

Education and Experience:

• Preferred: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in a retail environment is a plus.
• A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge is acceptable.
