Job Title: Industrial Painter Job Description - DIRECT HIRE OPPORTUNITY The Industrial Painter will provide routine and preventative maintenance painting duties and paint application for a full range of specialized painting projects, including large structures, tractors, trailers, agricultural equipment, and industrial pieces. Responsibilities Prepare items to be painted, including all sanding, masking, and repair work. Perform a variety of routine and preventative maintenance painting such as high steel and structural painting, sandblasting, and preparation for zinc, enamel, epoxy, bitumastic, and urethane painting on a variety of surfaces. Maintain safety standards in the performance of duties. Clean up facilities on a daily basis. Ensure the manager is aware of any issues which can impact customer satisfaction or billing. Maintain good condition and cleanliness of company vehicles, tools, and equipment, including the return of tools to storage areas. Adhere to and promote all company values by leading by example and creating an environment of trust and teamwork. Participate in all requested job-related training and development, while taking an active interest in improving skills with other training programs. Follow all company and common sense safety policies, using all required personal protective equipment. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed. Essential Skills Expertise in painting, paint preparation, industrial painting, and spray painting techniques. Proficiency with spray guns, blasting, paint booths, and industrial coatings. Experience with painting steel, metal, and other structural and heavy equipment. Skills in sanding, sandblasting, production, and industrial paint application. Ability to operate airless and conventional spray equipment. Additional Skills & Qualifications Auto body skills preferred. Ability to operate vehicles and equipment such as forklifts and hydraulic lifts. Ability to lift 50 - 55 pounds as required without assistance. Capability to work independently in the absence of supervision. Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism in the workplace. Strong organizational skills. Why Work Here?
