Job Title: Clinical Informatics Analyst (Hybrid) Location: Richmond, VA Duration: 12+ Months Job Description: The proper candidate will have experience in a recognized Electronic Health Record system. Our vendor is a Corrections-specific vendor; thus, we do not expect candidates to be familiar with our chosen EHR system. Provides technical leadership, estimates, technical training, process engineering, and technical guidance to staff. Additional Considerations: A college-level degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Health Informatics, or related curriculum is desired; however, related experience may substitute. Direct experience with system/technical configuration is required. Experience in healthcare, business administration, or electronic healthcare technology is highly desired. Skills: Skill Required / Desired Amount of Experience Designs, develops, configures, implements, and supports the VADOC EHR in compliance with ALM guidelines and project standards. Required 5 Years Assists with software design documents and diagrams. Familiar with agile methodologies. Required 5 Years Knowledge of ALM methodology and principles of system analysis, design, development, configuration, and support. Required 5 Years Documentation skills for workflow processes based on health standards; ability to customize, evaluate, configure, analyze, and document EHR systems and workflows; provide training and support in healthcare settings.
