About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President & Senior Counsel for Legal Risk, Central Support & Service Delivery. This role is pivotal in the transformation of the legal landscape, with a focus on redefining how legal teams deliver value. The successful candidate will be responsible for strategic leadership in legal risk management, governance, and operational excellence, shaping the operating model for the legal function, and leading cross-functional initiatives to strengthen legal governance and compliance frameworks. A key aspect of the role is the modernization of legal services through the adoption of technology, data, and process improvements, including the promotion of generative AI, automation, and analytics. The role also involves fostering a culture of continuous improvement and building trusted relationships across legal operations, control management, and business units. Applicants must have a Juris Doctor (JD) and at least 10 years of relevant legal experience, with a background that includes both in-house counsel and private practice. Experience in compliance, risk management, or operations is essential, as is a deep appreciation for the in-house legal perspective and the client experience. The ideal candidate will be a visionary, strategic leader with a passion for innovation, and possess exceptional communication skills with a strong executive presence.
