The Systems Integrator provides support to the US DOE Office of Legacy Management IT Projects team. The Systems Integrator will leverage their knowledge and experience to participate and aid teams that develop key new IT capabilities or to modernize and enhance existing capabilities, artifacts, and processes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Participates in the overall design, selection, installation, modification, and operation of an information systems capability.
2.Understands and applies existing, company-specific project management methods.
3.Will typically actively participate in IT Project Management, IT Governance, and IT Operations department meetings to provide status updates, presenting planned configuration changes, assisting in root cause analysis and associated issue resolution, etc..
4.Comprehends organizational structure and established escalation process.
5.Completing project tasks according to subscribed directions.
6.Provide local support to site operations and staff as needed, ranging from infrastructure systems, networking devices and configuration, client endpoints, and end-users.
7.Authority to complete assignments according to standard operating procedures; seeks manager's input/approval for non-standard assignments.
8.Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION, LICENSE, CERTIFICATION, and EXPERIENCE
Education
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
Experience in lieu of education considered.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
1.Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal. Able to translate technical jargon to simple business language.
2.Advanced analytical skills and abilities to derive solutions to resolve complex issues.
3.Understands and applies existing, company-specific project management methods.
4.Develops solutions to resolve project issues.
5.Assists with the creation and/or review of project and/or technical documentation; templates, charters, schedules, plans, design documents, etc.
6.Experience in the M365 suite of products, spanning both administration and general use.
7.Experience with Windows Server Operating Systems, Active Directory, Azure.
8.Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint,), various web conferencing tools (Teams, WebEx), and various web browsers (Edge, Chrome).
9.Exposure to or skills with any of the following: NIST SP 800-53, Networking, Server Operations or one of the LM Cybersecurity technical systems (Splunk, CrowdStrike, Cisco FirePower, etc.).
10.Experience with Palo Alto Network and Cisco Firewalls.
11.Collaboration and cooperation in various team settings to include physical and virtual environments.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
HIRING SALARY RANGE: $63,512.90 - $80,415.63 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
