Position Title: CNC Machinist – 2nd Shift

Wage: $28.00 – $33.00/hour

Shift: 2nd

Hours: 1:00pm – 11:00pm (Monday – Thursday)

We are currently seeking a self-starting, motivated, and experienced Vertical Machining Center Set up and Operator. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, brings years of hands-on experience, and is fully capable of setting up and operating CNC equipment independently. Self-starter is not just a term — it's a must!

CNC Machinist Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate vertical machining centers with minimal supervision. Proven experience setting up and running vertical machining centers
- Read and interpret blueprints, job specifications, and fabrication documents
- Use basic measuring tools to ensure part quality and accuracy
- Record setup and run times
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area

Requirements for CNC Machinist:
- High degree of mechanical aptitude and initiative
- Strong understanding of measuring tools and fabrication documentation
- Safety-focused with good housekeeping habits
- Reliable, punctual and team-oriented
- Able to stand, walk, reach, bend, climb, balance, and use hands/fingers
- Able to lift up to 50lbs
- Able to troubleshoot and solve problems on the fly
- Strong attention to detail
