Job Description :

We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow Developer with experience supporting and enhancing ServiceNow platforms within a state government or enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the ServiceNow framework, front-end development, and workflow automation. This position involves collaborating with both technical and business teams to design, build, and implement solutions that improve efficiency and meet organizational needs

Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance ServiceNow applications and modules.
• Build, test, and deploy front-end interfaces, workflows, script includes, and UI pages.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to analyze requirements and create scalable, maintainable solutions.
• Translate business processes into ServiceNow functionality using best practices.
• Provide technical expertise to internal developers and project teams.
• Ensure solutions align with ServiceNow platform standards, security guidelines, and accessibility requirements.
• Document development processes, configurations, and system modifications.
• Participate in testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of ServiceNow environments.
• Develop and configure ServiceNow modules including Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, Service Catalog, Request, CMDB, and Asset Management.
• Create and enhance Service Portal and UI Pages, leveraging HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AngularJS, and Jelly where appropriate.
• Integrate ServiceNow with external systems using REST, SOAP, MID Servers, and IntegrationHub .
• Collaborate with business analysts and process owners to translate requirements into functional technical designs.
• Ensure all configurations follow ServiceNow best practices and maintain compliance with State IT security and data governance standards.

Required Skills:

· Minimum 3 years of ServiceNow development experience , preferably within a state government or enterprise setting.

· Proven ability to program and configure front-end user interfaces in ServiceNow.

· Experience building workflows, script includes, and UI pages .

· Strong understanding of web development principles , including the client-server model and data relationships.

· Knowledge of ServiceNow security features and functionality .

· Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both business users and technical teams.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on solution delivery.
