USSTRATCOM is a Combatant Command responsible for strategic deterrence, nuclear operations, and enterprise IT services essential to national security. It oversees Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3), Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (JEMSO), Global Strike, and Missile Threat Assessments, working closely with other Combatant Commands, Services, and defense agencies. SCITLS will be a key component that will ensure mission success and the safety of the U.S. and its allies by providing 24/7 IT services and network support for NIPRNet, SIPRNet, JWICS, and SAP/SAR environments.

HOW Software Packing/Distribution Engineer WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

• Manages lower-level, routine packaging and deployments and supports team as needed.
• Identifies and collects software product details and requirements.
• Combines software components and configuration files into a single package for distribution and installation on multiple systems.
• Supports the creation of software packages, tests packages and deployments, and supports User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for software packages and deployments.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

• Education: BA/BS or equivalent
• Required Experience: 2+ years of related experience
• Security Clearance Level: Must be willing to Obtain Top Secret with SCI eligibility
• Required Certification: Security+ or Network+ or SSCP
• Required Certification: Ability to Obtain ITIL 4 Foundation – ITSM Certification within the first 9 months
• Location: Offutt AFB, NE

The likely salary range for this position is $82,283 - $111,323. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
