Job Description: Southwest Airlines will consider your interest for this position if you are currently a resident of the State of Colorado. Southwest Airlines will not consider your interest for this position if you have been interviewed by phone, virtually, and/or in person and not selected for the Ramp Agent position at DEN within the last 12 months. Pay & Benefits: Pay of $20.72 per hour, with the opportunity for future increase per applicable collective bargaining agreement wage scale based on time in position. Opportunities for overtime and shift premiums. The role involves working outdoors directing planes on the ground, handling cargo/baggage, and ensuring smooth ground operations. Duties include providing legendary customer service, loading/unloading and servicing aircraft, handling baggage, cargo, and mail, operating motorized equipment, cleaning aircraft interiors, and maintaining safety and security of cargo and baggage. The job requires working assigned shifts including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays. U.S. citizenship or current authorization to work in the U.S. is required with no sponsorship available. The position is part of a Collective Bargaining Agreement. Knowledge, skills, and responsibilities include teamwork, ability to work under stress, completion of Ramp Agent training, awareness of hazardous situations, communication skills, and adherence to grooming standards. No education or experience requirements. Must have a valid state motor vehicle operator's license, be able to obtain a SIDA badge, and possibly a Customs Seal. Physical abilities include lifting heavy items, climbing, bending, kneeling, and working in cramped or high places. Other qualifications include being at least 18 years old, maintaining appearance standards, and complying with attendance standards. The pay amount does not guarantee employment for any particular period.
