Job Description

Job Summary: As a Pole Inspector, you will be responsible for conducting inspections and assessments of telecommunication poles to ensure they meet safety and industry standards. You will be inspecting poles for confirmation of the need of a pole transfer. This would be a perfect opportunity for a recent high school graduate to gain some experience in the telecommunications field. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough visual inspections of telecommunication poles.
• Monitor and assess the condition of poles, identifying any damage, rot, or other potential hazards that could affect the stability and safety of the poles.
• Perform tests on poles using specialized equipment to determine their strength and compatibility with telecommunication equipment.
• Collect and maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and any necessary repairs or maintenance required.
• Collaborate with other team members to identify and recommend appropriate solutions for any issues found during inspections.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and industry standards at all times.
• This position requires frequent traveling to Ohio, Missouri, Indiana, etc. which will require overnight stays, typically returning for the weekend. Lodging, per diem, and vehicle are offered.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be willing to travel.
• Driver’s license is REQUIRED
• Ability to climb poles and work at heights, and comfortable with working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately record and report findings.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
