Position Overview
We are seeking a Daily Over-the-Road Driver who is flexible and willing to stay out for extended periods (weeks at a time). This role requires a strong work ethic, a high level of professionalism, and excellent communication skills to ensure every load is handled with care from pickup to delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Communicate clearly and promptly with the dispatcher regarding assignments and load details.
Pick up, transport, and deliver freight safely and on schedule.
Ensure that all loads are properly secured and compliant with safety standards.
Maintain accurate delivery logs and trip documentation.
Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues.
Represent Peoples Transport & Logistics LLC with integrity and professionalism on the road and at customer sites.
Qualifications
Chauffeur’s License required (Non-CDL).
Minimum 2 years of truck driving experience.
Strong communication and time management skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexible schedule with willingness to stay out for extended trips.
Additional licenses or endorsements are a plus .
Dependable, safety-conscious, and professional demeanor at all times.
