Job Description

Recore Electrical Contractors, Inc. a multi-state licensed, 100% employee-owned, Electrical Services contractor, and one of the largest electrical contractors in the Charlotte Metro Area; is growing and seeking an Industrial Electrical Superintendent to run industrial projects.

Candidates should have at least 2 years of industrial electrical supervision experience.

The Superintendent will oversee the operations and field personnel responsible for the installation, additions, and/or repairs of electrical systems, conductors, and associated materials/equipment for the assigned job. The ideal candidate is a natural problem solver who exercises great communication skills with project managers and clients. Relocation assistance available for out of state candidates.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Managing a crew of 10 -15 electricians
• Review plans and layouts provided by the Project Manager
• Identify and communicate conflicts in construction progress with the Project Manager.
• Maintain project schedule by monitoring project progress
• Controls project plan by reviewing design, specifications, plan and schedule changes
• Generate weekly and monthly material requests
• Attend job site meetings with General Contractor, when needed
• Maintain daily logs and other paperwork that can be required by the General Contractor
• Use an iPad to document daily progress on a project
• Maintaining safe and clean working environment
• Comprehend and practice safe work procedures

Experience requirements:

• Strong industrial electrical background.
• 2 years of prior industrial electrical supervision experience
• Strong knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC).
• Ability to safely operate and maintain a specialized electrical service vehicle.
• Able to maintain professional appearance and conduct at all times.
• Able to demonstrate necessary computer and keyboard skills.
• Ability to manage customer and company specific information and documentation in an organized manner.
• Able to maintain high levels of productivity, meeting deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
• Must be an effective and professional communicator, both written and verbally.
