Overview Our client, a growing hospitality company, is seeking a Human Resources Director to oversee the people function and lead a lean team. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, small office environment where tight deadlines are common. This individual will be responsible for driving recruitment and ensuring a strong onboarding experience, overseeing employee relations and compliance programs, managing compensation and benefits, and partnering with managers on performance management, training, and career development. Responsibilities Drive recruitment and onboarding programs and ensure a positive candidate and new hire experience. Oversee employee relations and compliance programs to minimize risk and maintain policy alignment. Manage compensation and benefits programs, including salary planning and program administration. Partner with managers on performance management, training, and career development initiatives. Lead and develop a lean HR team to deliver high-quality HR services in a fast-paced environment. Requirements 8+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role. Strong knowledge of U.S. employment law, compliance, and employee relations. Proven experience overseeing recruitment, onboarding, and training programs. Preferences Background in hospitality or service-based industries. HR certifications such as SHRM-SCP or SPHR. Experience managing compensation and benefits programs. Track record of building employee engagement and retention initiatives.
