Hiring Mechanic !! 1st shift Pay: $22-$29/hr White Bear Lake,MN

Job Description

We are seeking skilled mechanics to join our team in building concrete pumping equipment. Mechanics are responsible for reading and interpreting blueprints to assemble components for concrete pump trucks or trailers. Additionally, mechanics perform a variety of mechanical assembly duties on prototype units, utilizing hand and power tools to construct each unit efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints to assemble components for concrete pump trucks or trailers.
• Perform mechanical assembly duties on prototype units using hand and power tools.
• Follow engineering drawings and bills of materials.
• Request parts from the Parts Department as required.
• Lay out truck details per engineering prints on a job-by-job basis.
• Perform final assembly of all units, including hoods, electric components, lights, and stickers to customer specifications.
• Install hydraulic lines and fill them with oil in preparation for required testing.
• Prepare trucks for sub-frame assembly by disassembling, measuring, repositioning parts, installing parts, and reassembling units by following procedures.
• Test assembled parts or products to ensure functionality and quality.
• Comply with workplace health and safety policies, safe work practices, and procedures.
• Maintain tools and workspace in good condition.
• Perform reasonably similar or related duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

• Experience with hydraulics, brake lines, chassis work, and blueprint reading.
• Previous experience with heavy mechanical equipment preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Basic math knowledge.
• Possession of personal tools.
• Comfortable working overtime when needed.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
