Job Opportunity: Physician - Gastroenterology

• Provide comprehensive care including inpatient, outpatient, rounds, and clinic responsibilities.
• Manage a diverse patient caseload, with an average number of clinic patients supported by an advanced practice provider.
• Participate in teaching opportunities through the Graduate Medical Education (GME) program.
• Conduct endoscopic procedures with facilities onsite for ease of access.
• Collaborate with a team of APPs providing support in both clinic and hospital settings.
• Maintain knowledge of organizational practices and regulatory policies.
• Fulfill job-related duties as required to achieve departmental goals.

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology with a commitment to becoming Board Certified within one year.
• Fellowship-trained in Gastroenterology.
• Clean malpractice history and license.
• Some experience in GI work (5-8 years preferred).
• ERCP certification; willingness to obtain necessary proctoring if required.
• ITIL and PMP certifications are highly preferred.
• Willingness to comply with health and vaccination policies.

• Current Michigan medical license (or willing to obtain).
• Active DEA registration prior to employment start date.
• Current BLS certification (or willing to obtain).
• CSR/CDS registration before starting.
• Full COVID and flu vaccinations unless an exemption is approved.
