Join our dynamic team as a Full-Time Retail Associate. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in enhancing the shopping experience for our customers. Your key responsibilities will include merchandising and stocking products, handling cashier duties, and ensuring a clean and inviting store environment. Position Type: Full-Time Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week Starting Wage: $16.00 per hour Wage Increases: Year 2 - $16.50 | Year 3 - $17.00 | Year 4 - $17.00 | Year 5 - $18.00 Key Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate commitment to our Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills.
• Process customer purchases, clean the store regularly, and arrange shelves and displays.
• Deliver outstanding customer service to enhance shopper satisfaction.
• Collaborate with team members and maintain clear communication with store management.
• Report feedback to management regarding products, inventory losses, scanning errors, and other concerns.
• Participate in inventory counts and monitor stock accuracy.
• Follow cash handling policies diligently to minimize losses.
• Adhere to all company policies while keeping sensitive information secure.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stock merchandise and lift items weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Must be able to stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the store.

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to efficiently operate a cash register.
• Skills to use equipment like electric/manual hand jacks and floor scrubbers.
• Competence in maintaining cleanliness to company standards.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Capability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Must meet local and state requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail experience is a plus, but not required.
