About the Role
The Company is seeking a Head of FX, Derivatives & ETD's/Clearing, Executive Director to lead and manage the teams responsible for the end-to-end Middle Office and Operations processes in these areas. The successful candidate will be tasked with ensuring the flawless execution of Middle Office and Operations, supporting business lines and clients through the trade lifecycle, and maintaining a robust control framework to mitigate risks. This role requires a strategic leader with a strong background in FX, OTC Derivatives, and ETD's/Clearing operations, who can drive departmental transformation efforts, enhance policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with all regulatory obligations. Key responsibilities for the Head of FX, Derivatives & ETD's/Clearing include day-to-day operational oversight, strategic leadership, team management, and stakeholder collaboration. The role demands a professional with a minimum of 10 years' experience in a managerial position within the relevant financial operations, and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical and problem-solving skill set, excellent leadership and communication abilities, and a proven track record of driving innovation and continuous improvement in compliance processes. A FINRA Series 99 or Series 27 is mandatory, with the expectation to pass the Series 27 exam within 6 months of joining. The Head will also be responsible for ensuring that all operational processes comply with applicable rules and regulations, and will act as the main point of contact for audits and regulatory examinations in the area.
