Job Description Under limited supervision, gathers and analyzes user needs for developing and modifying clinical or business applications in the healthcare environment. For more information, visit . Qualifications Education and Experience Bachelor’s Degree in health, science, or business field, or equivalent professional experience required. Master’s degree preferred. Additional certifications may be required. At least five years of progressively responsible experience in information applications, including one year in programming or applications analysis, or equivalent such as business analysis. Experience in a healthcare environment is preferred. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to perform and teach analysis and problem-solving with emphasis on user relations, data gathering, and management information applications. Serves as a resource for complex problem resolution. Ability to develop complex application specifications and familiarity with problem analysis, hardware/software configurations, and application integration. Ability to teach application functionality, design standards, and process changes to end users and train trainers. Ability to make recommendations on application integration and relationships within organizational systems. Effective customer service skills and ability to work with all organizational levels. Leadership skills to coordinate activities, delegate responsibilities, and review work of analysts, end users, and consultants. Strong verbal and written communication skills for advising, consulting, and presenting findings. Ability to teach application functionality, design standards, and problem-solving tools. Excellent organizational skills, confidence, and creativity. Adherence to application security and control procedures, with the ability to make recommendations as necessary.
