Electrical Controls Engineer

Title: Controls Engineer

Location: Fenton, MO with up to 20% travel

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Controls Engineer to design, develop, and implement control systems for various industrial applications. The ideal candidate will work on optimizing processes, enhancing system performance, and ensuring the reliability of electrical control systems.

Location: Fenton, MO

Salary: $90k-$130k depending on education and experience

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop control systems for industrial automation applications.
  • Program and configure PLCs to meet project specifications and requirements.
  • Create and maintain HMI interfaces for user interaction with control systems.
  • Work with robotic systems and integrate them into existing processes.
  • Utilize Allen Bradley components for control system implementation.
  • Develop and optimize PID loops for process control.
  • Integrate motion controllers for precise control of machinery.
  • Commission control systems and ensure they meet operational standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical control system issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Proven experience in programming PLCs and control systems.
  • Familiarity with Allen Bradley products and programming software.
  • Experience with HMI development and integration.
  • Knowledge of robotic systems and their applications in automation.
  • Understanding of PID loop control and motion control systems.
  • Ability to commission electrical systems and troubleshoot issues effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
