Job Description:
Scotts Miracle-Gro is seeking a Dispatcher to join our team for a 4-month contract position. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and communication skills to coordinate logistics effectively in a fast-paced environment.



Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage truck dispatch operations (prior experience is a plus but not required).
• Communicate with drivers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure efficient scheduling and routing.
• Utilize computer systems to track shipments, update records, and generate reports.
• Handle incoming calls and provide accurate information regarding dispatch schedules.
• Operate office equipment, including fax machines, copiers, and scanners.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records related to dispatch operations.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Qualifications & Requirements:
• Strong computer proficiency, including experience with dispatch or logistics software (preferred).
• Excellent telephone communication skills with a professional and customer-friendly demeanor.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a proactive, results-driven attitude.
• Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening.
