Job Description

Shift: Full Time, 6 A.M.-2 P.M., Monday-Friday, Temporary role

Pay: $19-$23.25 DOE 

We are looking for an individual with one year of custodian experience in carpet/floor cleaning in a high-volume setting, preferably healthcare. This position will maintain common areas, and assist with community event setup, moving, and lifting items up to 50 pounds.

• May clean common areas, including public restrooms, elevators, offices, public rooms, beauty salon, resident and employee lounges; dust, and sanitize
• Empties trash receptacles; may deposit recyclable material in proper receptacles; picks up trash and keeps exterior perimeter clean
• Takes note of safety concerns and needed repairs and reports to supervisor
• Perform event set-ups and tear-downs; lifting items up to 50 pounds
• Maintain awareness of surroundings and take initiative to clean areas that need attention

To be successful in this role, you will have;

• One year of custodian experience in a high-volume setting, preferably in healthcare 
• One year of carpet/floor cleaning
• Moving and lifting items up to 50 pounds 
• Knowledge of standard methods, materials, and equipment used in custodial work relating to custodial equipment and cleaning agents
• Knowledge of preparation, use, and disposal of chemical cleaning agents
