Our client, a leader in the insurance industry, is looking to hire a skilled Chief Financial Officer (CFO). This is a high-leverage, high-visibility executive role within an established and profitable carrier. Reporting directly to the CEO, you’ll be responsible for financial close, regulatory reporting, FP&A, corporate strategy, treasury and taxation. Only proven leaders with a track record of progressive responsibility in the insurance sector will be considered. Role & Responsibilities: Lead the finance department, ensuring that strategic and operational financial goals are met. Manage and oversee the company’s financial operations including treasury functions, liquidity forecasting, and capital structure planning. Ensure compliance with the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) regulatory reporting requirements for property and casualty insurance. Develop and implement finance policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective financial management and to reduce financial risk. Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the organization. Prepare and present accurate and timely monthly and quarterly financial reports to the company stakeholders. Key Skills Required: Required: A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university; Finance, Accounting, Auditing, Risk Management and/or related fields. Required: 10+ years of experience in financial leadership roles, with increasing scope and impact in financial planning and analysis, financial reporting, financial systems, treasury and taxation. Preferred: Financial management experience within the property and casualty insurance industry. Beneficial: MBA, Masters in Finance and/or relevant designations (e.g., a CPA, CMA or CFA).
