Overview:

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Assistant/Bookkeeper to manage our day-to-day accounting and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience in bookkeeping using QuickBooks, office administration, and basic financial operations.

Responsibilities:

• Perform general administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, managing emails, and scheduling appointments.

• Handle day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations.

• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions.

• Prepare financial reports, balance sheets, and monthly reconciliation statements.

• Assist the Accounting team with reports and tax documents and ensure compliance with tax regulations.

• Ensure office operations run smoothly.

• Support management with various tasks such as contract review.

Skills and Experience:

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Office Assistant, Bookkeeper, or similar role.

• Proficiency in accounting software, preferably QuickBooks.

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

• Knowledge of bookkeeping and office management principles.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
