As an interpreter, you will provide on-site interpretation between English and Arabic in professional settings such as hospitals, courts, schools, community agencies, and business meetings. Assignments will be offered on an as-needed basis, depending on client demand in your location. Responsibilities Provide accurate, impartial, and confidential in-person interpretation between English and Arabic. Facilitate communication in medical, legal, educational, community, and business environments. Prepare for assignments when applicable, ensuring familiarity with terminology. Maintain professionalism, cultural sensitivity, and neutrality. Adhere to Day Interpreting’s code of ethics and confidentiality standards. Requirements Fluency in Arabic and English (native or near-native proficiency in both). Proven experience as an interpreter (medical, legal, community, or educational settings preferred). Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Reliable transportation to attend assignments on-site. Professional certification (e.g., court or medical interpreting) is a plus but not required.
